What this is
The IHNYC RC Programs Calendar is a private calendar feed you can subscribe to so RC programs/events appear automatically in your calendar app (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.). New events will update without manual imports.
How to subscribe
- Visit
https://calendar.ihnyc-rc.org/subscribe-programs - Enter your name and email
- Complete any security verification (if shown)
- Click Get Link
- Check your email for a confirmation link
- Open the confirmation link to return to the page and add the calendar
If the one-tap buttons do not work, click Copy Calendar Link and add the subscription manually in your calendar app.
Why the email link exists
The confirmation link proves you control the email address and creates (or refreshes) your private subscription link.
If the link expires, request a new one from the subscribe page.
Your subscription link is private
The subscription link contains a private token. Treat it like a password:
- Do not post it publicly
- Do not share it in group chats
- If it was shared accidentally, request a new link to rotate the token
If you see “Sync Error”
If your calendar app reports sync errors or stops updating:
- Return to the subscribe page and request a new link
- Remove the old subscription in your calendar app
- Add the new subscription link
Refresh timing
Update intervals depend on the calendar app:
- Apple Calendar: minutes to a few hours
- Google Calendar: several hours, sometimes up to 24 hours
- Outlook: usually within hours, varies by device/account

- screenshot of the issue
- whether you used subscription link or one-time download
